    Nash is a self-taught artist who works exclusively in watercolors to create highly detailed automotive paintings. Sourcing images from his own photographs, Nash's paintings present the viewer with a little bit of the soul and history of each vehicle he paints.

    When not in his studio, this Iowa resident can be found at the occasional car show or more likely wandering obscure county roads in his seventy year old truck in search of his next automotive muse.

    Angela is a full-time art teacher and has experience creating in multiple mediums. She has worked for Meredith Publications creating pillows, cushions, curtains and the like, and today she specializes in custom made home decor, original acrylic paintings, fiber art, and hand-dyed upcycled clothing!

    Hilde DeBruyne is a Belgian-American artist living in Des Moines, Iowa. She is a sculptor and designer in clay, metal and bronze. Her work has been exhibited internationally and is included in public and private collections DeBruyne has successfully completed multiple public art projects throughout Iowa, Minnesota , Illinois, Indiana , and Belgium. Her artwork in metal is contemporary in style, often abstracted and organic in nature . She uses mild steel, cor ten steel or aluminum and usually enriches the work with the use of bold, attractive colors. Overall her artwork has an energetic, warm and welcoming feel to it.

    Kristy has been a "maker" her whole life but, in her 50s, she found mixed media where she can use a little of this and a lot of that to explore in so many directions and create not only visual texture but fingertip texture, too!

  • Caroline Freese

    Caroline is an emerging multimedia artist focusing in acrylic painting, digital designs, and ceramics. Her art is all connected through her animal designs, which form the base of her brand. She creates unique, folk, animal paintings on wood. These images are then applied to her handmade pottery using black iron oxide printed decals. Caroline uses B-mix clay and a potter’s wheel to create modern, functional pottery. Her forms are unique to her brand, and are fired in an electric kiln to cone 6. She performs every step in the process by hand.

    Summer works with a variety of media including oil, acrylic, ink, and pastel, and most recently has been incorporating metal gilding and spray paint to embellish her work. Her subjects include animals, flowers, and characters based in reality or fantasy. Her work often centers on one strong character that grabs the viewer’s eye and invites them to let their mind wander, allowing the characters to tell their story.

    Bob Kling has been exhibiting his paintings, drawings, sculptures and photographs throughout the United States for over forty years and his work may be found in many public and private collections. From his studio in Indianola, Iowa, Kling creates art in a variety of media with a range of subjects that reflects his varied interests in life. Whether exploring the subject of reflections, the produce of the local grocery store, his love of hot-air ballooning or travels throughout Italy and Europe, Kling paints people, places and things with an eye to make the ordinary extraordinary!

    Kristy Niemeyer is a graphic artist entering the ‘someday’ phase of her life. After 40 years of creating graphics for others, dreaming of someday painting ‘that painting,’ she is discovering the art of her soul. Her artwork now is an outward expression of the joy exploding and bubbling up from within. Working mainly in watercolor and sometimes adding ink, Kristy follows a trail of curiosity: making an observation, wondering about what captivated her attention, doing a bit of research, and discovering delight – something worth expressing. When the results touch another’s heart, a circle of three hearts is complete.

    Lisa is an artist and art educator. Her current art is inspired by life experiences and the creative process. Her favorite medium is painting, and she enjoys abstract and nature subjects, and experimenting with texture, color and space.

    She has been teaching art for 22 years, and currently servces at Indianola (Iowa) Middle School. She has also taught classes at the Des Moines Art Center and Indianola Parks and Recreation.
