The North River Arts Council was formed by artists to connect with other artists and to help bring the economic impact that is created by arts to Warren County, Iowa.

The Council holds monthly meetings on the fourth Tuesday of the month to:

• connect artists and the community,

• teach artists how to market for their work,

• formulate strategies for increasing art in the community,

• support arts in the schools,

• be a conduit for public art,

• amplify an arts culture across the area,

• open a public art gallery with educational space or individual artists studios to nurture home-grown artistic talent right here in Warren County.
